About the Breeder....

My name is Pam Atwell, and I have been a breeder of  Persians since 1998. I have a small cattery in my home in Lincolnton, North Carolina. I am proud that all my breeding cats are PKD/DNA tested negative. We have a large 12 X 24 foot bonus room separated into 3 large rooms for the males. My girls roam free. None of the cats are caged. The kittens have their own room with lots of room to play until they have been vaccinated. The kittens stay here at Catwells' until they are 12 weeks old. This is the age when they are ready for their homes after being well socialized.  They also have been vaccinated twice.

Our whole family helps to take care of these lovely creatures. Dan, my husband is such a help as well as my daughter Stephanie. Stephanie was born with Downs Syndrome. She has such a special touch with the babies. She wants to keep all of them.

 I specialize in Bi-Colors, but also have the beautiful White. My Bi-Color lines include , Cacao.Chantilylace, Petmar, and Jovan, just to name a few. My whites are from Sundew,Aftabi and Steeplechase lines. I want to thank all the wonderful breeders for trusting me with their beautiful cats. I also like to thank my mentors over the years,Jean Green from Steeplechase, Laura Thomas of Purrinlot, and Mary Petritsch of Petmar. My cats have been loved as family, not just as pets. My goal is to breed healthy kittens meeting the CFA standard. We aim to produce the wide open sweet expression that anyone would love.

 I have been showing in CFA since 2004. I don't get to show as much as I would like to because of family commitments. I am involved in my church. I am a born again Christian and share my faith when and where ever the Lord leads. Jesus is the Lord of my life.
